Charles Bridge

The oldest bridge in whole country, connects two districts of Prague. Plenty of beautiful, baroque sculptures are part of it, making walk through if even more romantic. You will find here a lot of drawing artists, musicians, gifts shop, and – most important – spectacular view over the city. But beware, some pickpockets are looking for their victims in there.

Old town square

This area is heart of Prague, it was inscribed to World Heritage List. At the center of it you will find statue of John Hus, founder of bohemian language, burned at the stake in 15th century. But the best known part of the square is astronomical clock, attached to the town hall. Every hour, a Muppet show is taking place, illustrating history of Prague.

Hradczany

This majestic Castle is seeing above Prague, it use to be home of royal family. Every day, at 12pm, you can see changing of guard there. Their uniforms was created by movie costume designer, and music which accompanied them during the show, was composed by rock musician. It is the biggest castle complex on the world, inscribed at Guinness list. Prague

Petrin Hill

In the center of the Prague, you may climb at 376 meters tall hill. If you are to tired to walk so long, you could take a ride in rope way. But definitely, the view at the top is worth to be seen. You will find there a younger and smaller sister of Eiffel Tower, also open for visitors. Petrin hills has plenty of green areas, you may have a picnic on the grass here.

Josefov

This located in Old Town area, is one of the biggest Jewish district in Europe. It is 8 hundred years old, but during 19th and 20th centuries it was totally rebuild. Nowadays you will find here a lot of eclectic mansions, historical Synagogues, and old Jewish Cementary, with Franz Kafka’s grave in it. Speaking of which, the modern-art statue of this great writer, could be also find in Josefov.

Mala Strana

This district is connected with Old Town by Charles Bridge and it lays at the bottom of Hradczany. It is very romantic place to visit, because of charming narrow streets, small buildings and old churches. The most spectacular part of it are gardens situated over the hill, reaching riverside at the bottom.

Prague is one of the most cultural cities in the Europe. It is known for great architecture, tasty cuisine, and delicious beer. The signature of whole country are people, very nice and friendly. It is place worth to be seen, even if you don’t have too much time.
